Welcome to Sakura. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Sakura iOS application (the “App”). By downloading, installing, or using Sakura, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Important: Sakura is a personal finance tracking tool. It does NOT provide financial advice. Always verify AI-parsed transactions before making financial decisions.

About Sakura

What Sakura does. Sakura is a voice-first personal finance tracker for iOS that helps you:

• Record transactions using voice commands (e.g., “120 nghìn ăn phở”)
• Automatically parse voice transcripts into structured transaction data using AI
• Track multiple wallets and currencies (VND, USD, etc.)
• Visualize spending patterns with charts and analytics

What Sakura does NOT do.

• Provide professional financial advice, investment recommendations, or tax guidance
• Connect directly to your bank accounts or payment providers
• Process actual financial transactions or payments
• Guarantee 100% accuracy in AI-parsed transaction data

AI-Powered Features & Accuracy

AI transaction parsing. Sakura uses artificial intelligence (Groq AI / Llama 3.3) to interpret your voice commands and extract transaction details such as amount, merchant, category, and date.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI parsing may produce incorrect or incomplete results
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-parsed transactions before saving them
• You can edit any transaction details manually if the AI interpretation is incorrect
• We are not liable for financial decisions made based on unverified AI-parsed data

No financial advice. Any insights, summaries, or recommendations provided by Sakura (including AI-generated “weekly reflections”) are for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Always consult with a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

Subscriptions & Payments

Free tier. Sakura offers a free tier with limited daily AI parsing requests. You can use all core features (manual transaction entry, wallet management, basic analytics) without a subscription.

Sakura Premium. Sakura Premium unlocks unlimited AI parsing, advanced analytics, and priority support. We offer two subscription plans:

• Monthly subscription — Product ID: me.nhkhoa.sakura.monthly
• Yearly subscription — Product ID: me.nhkhoa.sakura.yearly (best value — save with annual billing)

Payment & billing.

• All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not handle payment information directly.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your Apple ID will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.
• Prices are in your local currency and may vary by region. Apple may apply applicable taxes.

Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your Responsibilities

By using Sakura, you agree to:

• Verify transactions: Review all AI-parsed transactions for accuracy before saving and before making any financial decisions based on your data.
• Keep your device secure: Use a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID to protect your device and the financial data stored in Sakura.
• Use the app responsibly: Do not attempt to exploit, reverse engineer, or misuse the app or its AI features.
• Comply with laws: Use Sakura in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
• Provide accurate voice input: Speak clearly and provide complete information when recording transactions to improve AI accuracy.

Intellectual Property

Our rights. The Sakura app, including its design, source code, logos, graphics, and AI-powered features, is owned by Khoa Truong Nguyen Anh (nhkhoa) and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Your data. You retain full ownership of all financial data you enter into Sakura. Since your data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it. We claim no ownership or rights to your personal financial information.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

“As is” basis. Sakura is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

No liability for financial decisions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, nhkhoa and the Sakura team shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Financial decisions made based on data or insights provided by Sakura
• Errors or inaccuracies in AI-parsed transaction data
• Loss of data due to device failure, app deletion, or iOS updates
• Service interruptions, bugs, or errors in the app
• Unauthorized access to your device or financial data

Backup your data. You are responsible for backing up your financial data. While iOS may back up app data to iCloud if enabled, we recommend periodically exporting or recording important financial information. We are not responsible for data loss.

Termination

Your right to terminate. You may stop using Sakura and delete the app from your device at any time. This will remove all local data stored by the app. If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it separately through the App Store to avoid future charges.

Our right to terminate. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Sakura’s backend services (AI parsing, quota management) at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. By continuing to use Sakura after changes are posted, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Sakura shall be resolved in the courts of Vietnam.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

Acknowledgment

By using Sakura, you acknowledge that you have read these Terms of Service, understand them, and agree to be bound by them. You also acknowledge that these Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and nhkhoa regarding your use of Sakura, superseding any prior agreements.
